Lowell is again demonstrating its commitment to quality and service by announcing the arrival of the "Spinner TM". This is a complete new type of machine tool for complex machining of precision parts at highest level of quality in small and medium quantities. The "Spinner TM" brings together all the machining capabilities of a 5 axis machining center and a twin spindle turning cell with main- and sub-spindle. The added feature of the B Axis programable turret makes it state of the art. Complete turning and milling of all possible 3 dimensional geometries by using up to 5 axis interpolation is possible now.
GSI Lumonics YAG Laser Marker
The laser marker is a model HM 1400 / 75 watt, equipped with a programmable power "Z" axis table for fast setup, and switch-overs.
Laser marking utilizes computer imaging to apply part numbers, bar codes and graphic images in a fast, permanent and clean marking process.
